RESOLUTION TO UPGRADE THE TRAINING OFFICER’S POSITION TO A CAPTAIN’S SLOT
body
WHEREAS, currently our Training Officer holds a Lieutenant's position in the Jonesboro Police Department, and
WHEREAS, the duties and requirements to the position of a training officer far exceed the normal duties of a lieutenant, and
WHEREAS, due to the position's extensive work load and job requirements the Jonesboro City Council feels this position should be upgraded to a captain's slot.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Jonesboro City Council recommends approval of this request.
