RESOLUTION TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING TO ABANDON AN ALLEY SOUTH OF STEEL AVENUE AND NORTH OF EAST NETTLETON AS REQUESTED BY DAVID CONRAD

WHEREAS, the property owners have filed a petition with the City Clerk of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas requesting that the alley located south of Steel Ave, and north of East Nettleton in the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
WHEREAS, the petition has been presented to the City Council of the city of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, Arkansas Statute Annotated 19-3814 requires two weeks public notice before the above alley can be vacated and abandoned;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that the City Clerk is directed to publish a notice once a week for two consecutive weeks advising the public of the request by the property owners to vacate and abandon the alley located south of Steel Ave, and north of East Nettleton in the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and that this matter will be heard before the City Council at 6:20 p.m. on December 4, 1995, at City Hall, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
PASSED AND ADOPTED the 20th day of November, 1995.
