AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2595 ADOPTING THE 1995 BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, TO INCLUDE A DEPARTMENT BUDGET IN THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR SPECIAL STREET PROJECTS\MATA EXPENDITURES. (NOTE: THIS ORDINANCE WAS AMENDED BY ORD-95:497 ON NOVEMBER 20, 1995)

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, that:
SECTION 1: The 1995 operating budget for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, be amended as follows:
To include a departmental budget in the Capital Improvement Fund for Special Street Projects\MATA expenditures totaling $58,846.00 for two (2) personnel positions and office operations with an additional amount of $110,000 for the professional services contract with Garver & Garver and $600,000 for additional professional services for project costs.
SECTION 2: These expenditures for these projects will be recorded specifically and accounted for separately for reimbursement to the City of Jonesboro from proceeds of the bond sale to occur in 1996. The source of funds for the expenditures currently will be reserves in the General Fund.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall take full force and effect upon its passage and approval.
