AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE 2009 ANNUAL BUDGET AND THE CITY PAY PLAN FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO FOR THE POSITION OF GRANTS ADMINISTRATOR IN THE GRANTS SECTION
Body
WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has been awarded grant funds and
 
WHEREAS, grant funding awards will fully support the personnel and operational costs for the Grants Administrator in the Grants section
 
WHEREAS, it is recommended by the Finance Committee, to efficiently apply for federal and miscellaneous grants  
 
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:
 
SECTION 1:  The annual 2009 budget of the City of Jonesboro is amended by the addition of one Grants Administrator, Grade 22; and
 
SECTION 2:  The City Pay Plan is amended to include the position of Grant Administrator in the Grants Section.
 
SECTION 3:  This ordinance, being necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the City of Jonesboro, an emergency is declared to exist. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage and approval.
