A RESOLUTION TO MAKE APPOINTMENTS TO BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS AS RECOMMENDED BY THE MAYOR

WHEREAS, the boards and commissions appointments are as follows:
MUNICIPAL AIRPORT COMMISSION
Bob Gibson is hereby reappointed to complete his Chairmanship term expiring April 1, 2008. A second council person will be appointed upon the completion of Mr. Gibson’s appointment/chairmanship expiration per Ordinance 06:104.
John Shannon is hereby reappointed to a one year term expiring April 1, 2009.
Jason Chandler is hereby reappointed to a two year term expiring April 1, 2010.
Faye McCall is hereby appointed to a two year term expiring April 1 2010.
CRAIGHEAD COUNTY SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL AUTHORITY
Mitch Johnson is appointed to a one year term replacing Kevin Orr with an expiration of July 31, 2009.
JONESBORO URBAN RENEWAL AND HOUSING AUTHORITY
Elizabeth Stafford is reappointed to a five year term expiring October 1, 2012.
NORTHEAST ARKANSAS INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
Niel Crowson is hereby reappointed to a two year term expiring April 1, 2009.
Harold Perrin is hereby appointed to a one year term replacing Steve Cox with an expiration of April 1, 2008
Steve May is hereby reappointed to a two year term an expiration date of April 1, 2009.
BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS AND APPEALS
Craig McDaniel is hereby reappointed to a one year term expiring April 30, 2009
Chad Waggoner is hereby reappointed to a one year term expiring April 30, 2009
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT: the above commission and board appointments are confirmed as recommended by Mayor Formon.
