BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
 
That the 17th day of September, 1973, is hereby fixed as the date for the hearing upon the petition of Charles Lampkin, Valda F. Lampkin, Ruben Griffin, Virginia Griffin and Derby Oil Company, praying for the abandonment and vacating of the following described alley in the City of Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas:
 
An alley running north and south through the middle of Duncan Subdivision of Lot 13 of Thorn Addition to the Town of Nettleton, Craighead County, Arkansas, bounded on the east by Lots 1, 2, and 3 on the west by Lots 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17, platted and filed for record in Deed Record Book 23 at page 42 of the records of the Jonesboro District of Craighead County, Arkansas.
 
The City Clerk hereby is directed to give notice of the time and place of a hearing on the said petition by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Craighead County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas. The notice shall state the name of the property owners who signed the petition, the description of the alley to be vacated, and shall identify same by abutting lot and block numbers, and the notice shall advise all persons that on the 17th of September, 1973, the Council will hear and determine whether the above described alley shall be vacated.
 
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of September, 1973.
