RESOLUTION TO CONTINUE IMPLEMENTATION OF CITY OF JONESBORO PAY PLAN B MODIFIED

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro adopted Resolution No. 2004:02 implementing Pay Plan B Modified Salary Schedule following a study by Condrey and Associates; and
WHEREAS, the Finance and Administration Committee recommends that the second year of Plan B be implemented giving one step for a yearly increase and one additional equity step for all employees who had been employed seven (7) or more years effective December 31, 2003;
WHEREAS, the Finance and Administration Committee recommends the implementation of the second stage of Plan B Modified effective January 1, 2005;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, that the second stage of Pay Plan B Modified be adopted and included in the City of Jonesboro 2005 budget effective January 1, 2004; and that all resolutions and parts of resolutions in conflict herewith, to the extent of any conflict, are hereby repealed.
