AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO REGARDING PRIVILEGE TAXES AND LICENSING OF AUCTIONS AND AUCTIONEERS

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:

Section 1: Sub-section (11) of Section 13-10 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Jonesboro is hereby amended to read as follows:

(11) (a) Auctioneers…………………………………………………………$25.00

(b) Auction Houses, being any place where an auction is held more than one    time a years; provided, however, that this section shall not apply to judicial sales or sales be Executors or Administrator…………………………$100.00

Section 2: Section 13-23 and 13-24 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Jonesboro is hereby repealed.
