RESOLUTION VACATING AND ABANDONING PART OF DOGWOOD LANE IN THE WOODLAND PARK ADDITION TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas.

WHEREAS, a petition has been filed by James O. Shannon, alma Jane Shannon, Paul Ledbetter and Joyce Ledbetter praying that a part of Dogwood Lane in Woodland Park Addition to the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas be abandoned and closed as follows:

The East 150.9 ft. of Dogwood Lane, being that part of Dogwood Lane east of a line extended northward from the Northwest corner of Lot 1 of Block “D” of Elmwood Subdivision of Woodland Park Addition to the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas to the existing South Line of Lot 9 of Block “B” of Woodland Park Addition to the City of Jonesboro.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Jonesboro give notice by publication once a week for two weeks in some newspaper published in Craighead County advising the proper owners affected that on the 19^th day of December, 1955 the Council will hear the petition and determine whether all abutting property owners and other persons directly interested have consented to such abandonment.
