A RESOLUTION TO CONTRACT WITH OPTUS FOR SPONSORSHIP OF A BASEBALL FIELD AT JOE MACK CAMPBELL PARK

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro owns and maintains Joe Mack Campbell Park;

WHEREAS, Optus, owner and operator of a Jonesboro based business is seeking sponsorship recognition on a baseball field at Joe Mack Campbell Park;

WHEREAS, Optus is sponsoring the field for the sum of $15,000 for a period of 10 years;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:

Section 1: That the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas shall contract with Optus for the sponsorship of a field at Joe Mack Campbell Park. A copy of said contract is attached as “Exhibit A”.

Section 2: The Mayor, Doug Formon, and City Clerk, Donna Jackson, are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
