The Metropolitan Area Planning Commission met Thursday, January 8, 1987 at 7:00 p. m. in the Council Chambers, 314 W. Washington. The requests considered are as follows:
The minutes of the December 11, 1986 meeting were approved as written.
#1 WITHDRAWN
#2 Mr. McCracken made a motion to approve site plans for Jim Mead for an Autumn Inn Motel to be built on the north side of Phillips Drive. The motion was seconded by Mr. Sloan. All members present voting aye. MOTION APPROVED.
#3 WITHDRAWN
#4 Mr. Vance made a motion to give conceptual approval of site plans for a Red Carpet Inn for Raymond Roberts. Included in this motion was a statement that the site plans should be brought back in February and that any further expansions or a future restaurant be excluded from those plans. The project is located adjacent to Methodist Hospital on Apache Drive. The motion was seconded by Mr. McCracken. All members present voting aye. MOTION APPROVED.
