AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 1851, THE 1984 BUDGET ORDINANCE

WHEREAS; the City Council has determined that it would be in the best interest of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas to amend the 1984 Budget;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:

Section 1: The 1984 Budget is amended as follows:

(a)                     $3,000.00 of un-appropriated capital improvements funds is allocated to the fixed asset line item in the Street Department;

(b)                     $3,500.00 of un-appropriated general funds is allocated to the Fire Department overtime line item.

Section 2: That an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, it shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and approval.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 18^th day of June, 1984.
