RESOLUTION TO RE-NAME THE HIGHWAY 63 BYPASS TO JOE N. MARTIN EXPRESSWAY

WHEREAS, Highway 63 By-Pass has been officially dedicated and is open for travel, and

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas desires to show its appreciation to Joe N. Martin for his outstanding contributions to this community, and

WHEREAS, Joe N. Martin was instrumental in obtaining the by-pass for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:

That Highway 63 By-Pass be renamed and that from and after the approval of this Resolution that Highway 63 By-Pass be known as and properly designated as the Joe N. Martin Expressway.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 16^th day April, 1979.
