AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1992 OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, TO PROVIDE FOR AN INCREASE OF THE FIRE CHIEF’S SALARY

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that:
SECTION 1: The 1992 operating budget for the City of Jonesboro be increased and amended by One Thousand Three Hundred Seventy Eight and no/100 ($1378.00) Dollars to include the Fire Chief’s Amended Salary of Forty One Thousand Five Hundred Ninety Five and 57/100 ($41,595.57) Dollars to Forty Three Thousand Three Hundred Fifty Five and 30/100 ($43,355.30) Dollars including holiday pay.
SECTION 2: IT IS FOUND AND DECLARED that due to the immediate need to instate the 1992 operating budget an emergency is declared to exist, and this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
