A RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT BID NUMBER 2007:54 FOR 2 ADA PARA-TRANSIT MINI VANS

WHEREAS, the company selected to provide 2 new ADA compliant mini vans for the JETS Department’s Para-Transit services is Arkansas Conversion Center. For a total cost of $64,848.00.

WHEREAS, this award has been made to the lowest bidder and presented to the Jonesboro Economical Transportation System through the City of Jonesboro’s bid procedure.

WHEREAS, $80,000.00 has been allocated in the 2008 FTA budget, grant number

AR-90-X066-01.

WHEREAS, the Public Services Committee has reviewed and approves awarding the bid to Arkansas Conversion Center

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:

SECTION 1: The City of Jonesboro accepts the Bid #2007:54 for $64,848.00 for 2 new 2008 Chevrolet Uplanders with ADA modifications.
