RESOLUTION TO APPOINT RON MILLER TO THE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION TO FILL THE UNEXPIRED TERM OF DENNIS ZOLPER WITH AN EXPIRATION DATE OF APRIL 1, 2018

WHEREAS, on November 2, 1982, the City Council of Jonesboro, Arkansas, created the Civil Service Commission; and

WHEREAS, Dennis Zolper was appointed to the Commission on September 4, 1984; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Zolper turned in his resignation on August 15, 2012; and

WHEREAS, Mayor Perrin has recommended Ron Miller to fill Mr. Zolper's unexpired term.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, THAT:

SECTION 1: Ron Miller is hereby appointed to the Civil Service Commission to fill the unexpired term of Dennis Zolper with an expiration date of April 1, 2018.
