RESOLUTION TO EXPRESS APPRECIATION TO BOB BENNETT FOR HIS SERVICE TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO AND ITS CITIZENS AS AN ALDERMAN

WHEREAS, Bob Bennett has for the past few years served the City of Jonesboro as Alderman of the Fifth Ward; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Bennett has tendered his resignation to the Mayor of the City of Jonesboro; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jonesboro desires to spread the following Resolution upon the minutes:
RESOLVED, that the City Council recognizes the excellent, energetic and intelligent service that
Mr. Bennett has rendered to the City during the years he has served as Alderman of the Fifth Ward.
RESOLVED FURTHER, Mr. Bennett has performed an excellent service for our City and its people and the City Council and the people of the Fifth Ward and Jonesboro greatly appreciate his untiring service. In accepting his resignation, the City Council pays its deepest respect, esteem and admiration unto him.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution shall spread upon the official minutes and become a lasting tribute to Mr. Bennett for his devotion to duty. And that a copy of this Resolution be tendered to Mr. Bennett as an expression of the Council’s sincere appreciation and gratitude for the services rendered by him.
