AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2006 ANNUAL BUDGET ORDINANCE FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO BY THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS FOR FULL-TIME POSITIONS

WHEREAS, The City of Jonesboro wishes to convert 11 part-time positions into full-time positions in the Street and Sanitation Departments;
WHEREAS, the conversion of these part-time positions is recommended by the Public Works Committee and the Finance Committee;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that:
SECTION 1: The 2006 annual budget for the City of Jonesboro, adopted as Ordinance 3600 on December 28, 2005 is amended as follows to convert eleven part-time positions into full-time positions:
