RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PROVISIONS OF THE GRANT OFFER FOR PROJECT NO. 8-05-003-02 WITH THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION (NOTE: THIS GRANT WAS AMENDED BY RES-74:03 ON FEBRUARY 18, 1974)

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, has submitted a project application dated September 10, 1972, to the FAA requesting federal participation in the amount of $7,350.00 for improvements at the Jonesboro Municipal Airport; and
WHEREAS, the FAA has issued a grant offer dated April 25, 1973, which provides a commitment of federal funds in the amount of $7,350 for the aforementioned development; and
WHEREAS, it is determined to be in the interest of the City of Jonesboro that the grant offer be accepted by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Jonesboro:
1. That the City Council does hereby accept provisions of the grant offer for Project No. 8-05-003-02, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference; and
2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute the grant agreement for and on behalf of the City.
