CITY COUNCIL AGENDA - May 4, 1998
1. Call to order by Mayor at 6:30 p.m.
2. Roll call by Clerk.
3. Approval of minutes from April 20, 1998, as provided.
4. City Attorney:
(A) 3rd reading - Ordinance to rezone property from Residential (R-1) to Commercial (C-3) and from Residential (R-1) to Residential (R-3), located on the southwest corner of Paragould Drive and Johnson Avenue. (Dan Hatch)
(B) 1st reading - Ordinance to vacate a portion of Commerce Drive.
5. Request to place a mobile home at 2100 Moore Road due to the medical needs of Mrs. Mary A. Crain.
6. Resolution to proceed with condemnation action on Jonesboro property located at 902 and 904 Creath; and property located at 804 Warren.
7. Resolution to place traffic signs at the City Landfill.
8. Resolution for endorsement of World Color, located at 4708 Krueger Drive, to participate in the Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program.
9. Resolution amending the provision dealing with the name of the purchasers of Lot 3 of the Industrial Mini Park from Basic Material, Inc. to Robert L. and Sharon K. Sanders.
10. Review the following appointments:
● Neither appointment has term limits.
Herb Davis to the Advertising and Promotion Commission.
Joanie Gardner Hannah to the Nature Center replacing her father Mr. Gene Gardner.
