RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE THE MAYOR WITH A CAR ALLOWANCE

BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that:
SECTION ONE: A car allowance shall be established for the Mayor of the City of Jonesboro in the amount of $750.00 per month beginning March 1, 2004 for the purpose of compensating use of the Mayor’s personal vehicle for local and out of town travel for official City purposes
SECTION TWO: Funding for the car allowance is provided in the 2004 City Budget for the Administration Department in the line-item Mayor’s and Council’s Expenses.
PASSED AND ADOPTED the 1st day of March, 2004.
