RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF REAL PROPERTY TO MICHAEL AND JENNIFER GREENE

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has recently acquired title to certain real property; and
 
WHEREAS, the City desires to sell a portion of said property to Michael and Jennifer Greene in order to square up the boundaries and clear up our existing encroachment.
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro that:
 
1.  The City of Jonesboro shall sell to Michael and Jennifer Greene the following described real property:
 
Part of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 23, Township 14 North, Range 3 East, Craighead County, Arkansas, being more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast Corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 23, Township 14 North, Range 3 East, Craighead County, Arkansas; thence South 88°39'26" West a distance of 540.39 feet to the point of beginning; thence South 88°39'26" West a distance of 139.66 feet; thence North 00°06'21" West a distance of 60.01 feet; thence North 88°39'26" East a distance of 129.05 feet; thence South 10°10'07" East a distance of 60.72 feet to the point of beginning containing 0.18 acres.
 
2.  That Michael and Jennifer Greene shall pay the sum of $3,595.69 in full upon closing.
 
3.  That Mayor Harold Perrin and City Clerk Donna Jackson are hereby authorized to execute such documents as are necessary to effectuate this transaction.
