AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE MONEY FROM UNALLOCATED SALES TAX FOR THE PURCHASE OF A PARCEL OF LAND.

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas hereby appropriates $550,000.00 dollars to come from unallocated sales tax, and
SECTION 2: Said funds shall be paid to the Dena Construction Company for the purchase of a parcel of land.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance being necessary for the financial continuity of the City of Jonesboro, there is hereby declared to be an emergency and this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of February, 1996.
