RESOLUTION TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING TO ABANDON A UTILITY EASEMENT IN MCDANIEL SUBDIVISION AS REQUESTED BY MARK & DIANA DEWEESE

WHEREAS, Mark DeWeese and Diana DeWeese have filed a petition with the City Clerk of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, requesting that the City abandon a 5 foot utility easement which runs North and South near the middle of Lot 12 of the Replat of Lots 12 and 13 of McDaniel Subdivision, Third Addition, to the City of Jonesboro; and

WHEREAS, the petition has been presented to the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and

WHEREAS, Arkansas law requires notice of such public hearing.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that the City Clerk is directed to publish a notice advising the public of such request to vacate and abandon the above mentioned easement and that this matter will be heard before the City Council on February 1, 1999, at 6:20 o'clock p.m. at the City Police & Courts Building, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
