RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO SELL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1103 COBB STREET, JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO TED HERGETT

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas desires to sell and did advertise the property at 1103 Cobb Street for sell, and
WHEREAS, Ted Hergett desires to purchase property at 1103 Cobb Street, owned by the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas being more particularly described as follows, to wit:
All of lot 50 and part of lot 49 of Cobb's Survey of the Northwest of the Northeast Quarter of Section 19, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, less and except a 30 foot right-of-way from the existing centerline of Cobb Street and Cherry Avenue to be retained by the City for public use.
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Jonesboro that said property be sold to Ted Hergett for the sum of $45,000.00.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that:
Section 1: The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the documents necessary to complete this transaction and accept the purchase price of $45,000.00 due and payable at the time of closing by the buyer.
