The Metropolitan Area Planning Commission met in regular session at 7:30 P.M. on Thursday, November 9, 1972 in the Court Room at City Hall.
The meeting was called to order by the Chairman, Mr. Aubrey Scott.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Scott, Young, Roddy, Adams, Morrison, Cooper, and Matthews.
MEMBERS ABSENT: King and House.
OTHERS PRESENT: Mr. Larry Fugate, Mr. Gene Martz, and Mr. Bill Bell.
Items for business were as follows:
Item #1. Mr. Bewey and Evelyn Grigsby request that a plat of Terrace Acres Subdivision of Sigler’s College Addition to the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas be set aside and reinstate the original Sigler’s College Addition to the City of Jonesboro Sycamore between Nettleton Avenue and Forest Home Road. A motion as made by Mr. Cooper and seconded by Mr. Young to APPROVE the request. A vote was taken and the motion was passed unanimously.
Item #2. Mr. Guy A Pardew requests approval of a revised plat of Lot 17 and 18 of Block C of a replat of Twin Acres Addition, Jonesboro, Arkansas. This property is located at 1404 and 1406 Shepherd Drive. A motion was made by Mr. Morrison and seconded by Mr. Roddy to APPROVE the request subject to a 15 ft. easement being given to confirm the original plat. A vote was taken and the motion was passed unanimously.
Item #3. Jim McDaniel requests final approval of McDaniel Subdivision III located at the intersection of Neely Road and Highway 226. A motion was made by Mr. Young and seconded by Mr. Cooper to APPROVE the final request. A vote was taken and the motion was passed unanimously.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:15 P.M.
