AN ORDINANCE TO VACATE AND ABANDON THE STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR CALION STREET NORTH OF BELT STREET.

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that:
SECTION 1: The City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, hereby releases, vacates and abandons all of its rights, together with the rights of the public generally, in and to the street designated as follows: "The street right-of-way for Calion Street North of Belt Street."
SECTION 2: A copy of the Ordinance duly certified by the City Clerk shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Craighead County, Arkansas, and shall be filed in the Deed Records of such office.
SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, finds an declares that the above portion of street is not necessary for the general benefit and welfare of the public; that the owners of all the property abutting the above street are in favor of the closure and vacation of the above street right-of-way.
SECTION 4: The City Council further finds and declares that an emergency exists and this Ordinance is necessary for the preservation of public peace, health and safety and shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
