AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 954, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS; PROVIDING FOR CHANGES IN ZONING BOUNDARIES AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
Section 1: That Ordinance No.954, known as the zoning ordinance of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, is amended as recommended by the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission by the changes in zoning classifications of follows: From Industrial One (I-1) to Residential Three (R-3) the following described property.
North 200.2 feet of Lot 2, all of Lot 3, North 100 feet of Lots 4, 6, 9 and 10, North 100 feet of West 41.9 feet of Lot 12 of Re-plat of Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 and part of Lot 6 of Fisher Commercial Subdivision.
From Commercial (C-3) to Residential Three (R-3) the following described property,
All of Lots thru 31 and West 47.8 feet of Lot 22 of Re-plat of Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 and part of Lot 6 Fisher Commercial Subdivision.
Section 2: It is found and declared by the City Council that the proper use of the tracts of land described in this Ordinance is being delayed because of improper zoning, and that, therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, it shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
