AN ORDINANCE TO PREVENT AND PROHIBIT PARKING ON CERTAIN PORTIONS OF DOGWOOD LANE WITHIN THE CITY OF JONESBORO; PROVIDING A PENALTY THEREFORE AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
SECTION 1: Hereafter it shall be and is hereby declared to be unlawful to park any motor vehicle or any other vehicle of any kind or character whatsoever along or upon the highway or street right-of-way upon both the north and south side of Dogwood Lane in the 600 block, from the hours of 6:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M.
SECTION 2: The Chief of Police or some person designated by him shall place and locate signs upon which shall be written “No Parking from 6:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M.” at the above described places, and it shall be unlawful for any person to tear down or remove said signs.
SECTION 3: Any person, firm or corporation violating this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $25.00.
