RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE ADMINISTRATION TO PLACE THE ISSUE OF INCREASING THE COST OF MOSQUITO CONTROL ON THE BALLOT IN NOVEMBER OF 1994

WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the Citizens of Jonesboro, Arkansas to vote on the issue and determine the feelings of its majority regarding an increase in the money charged for mosquito control, from $1.00 to $2.00.
THEREFORE, by passage of this resolution, the City Administration shall be authorized and instructed to take the necessary steps to place the issue on the ballot for a referendum at the next General Election, Tuesday, November 8, 1994.
PASSED AND ADOPTED the 6th day of September, 1994.
