A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO APPROVE A CHANGE ORDER WITH TRIDANT BUILDERS, INC. FOR TURTLE CREEK GREENWAY PHASE 1 - PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE - 2009:33

Body

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro desires to change the Turtle Creek Greenway Phase 1 - Pedestrian Bridge project with Change Order No. 1 as attached increasing the contract $19,600.00, the new contract amount is $197,600.00; and

WHEREAS, the funding for the Change Order shall come from the 2007 Safe Routes to School grant and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the contract documents.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

Section 1. The City of Jonesboro shall accept Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $19,600.00 from Tridant Builders, Inc. for Turtle Creek Greenway Phase 1 - Pedestrian Bridge project.

Section 2. Funding for the Change Order shall come from the 2007 Safe Routes to School grant and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the contract documents.

Section 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this change order.
