BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:
 
That the 6th day of January, 1964, is hereby fixed as the day for the hearing upon the petition of the Nettleton Baptist Church praying for the abandonment and vacating of the following alley in the City of Jonesboro, Nettleton Station, Arkansas.
 
An alley running south from Main Street of Nettleton Station to School St., located between Lots thirty-four, thirty-Five and thirty-six (34, 35 & 36) on the west side, and Lots 19, 20 and 21 on the east side of said alley, in Pardew's Addition to the Town of Nettleton, now Jonesboro, Arkansas, platted and filed for record in the Recorder's office at Jonesboro, Arkansas, on the 31st day of August, 1894, in Record Book 14, page 4.
 
The City Clerk hereby is directed to give notice of the time and hearing of said meeting by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in some newspaper published in Craighead County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas. The notice shall state the name of the property owners who signed the petition, the name of the alley, or parts thereof, to be vacated, and shall identify same by the abutting lot and block numbers, and the notice shall advise all persons that on the 6th day of January, 1964, the Council will hear and determine whether the above described alley shall be vacated.
 
PASSED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of December, 1963.
