AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR MATA PROJECTS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, additional funding is required for completion of the West Nettleton and Matthew Avenue II MATA projects,
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that:
SECTION 1: The sum of $1.2 million is appropriated from the unappropriated fund balance of the Capital Improvement Fund for the West Nettleton and Matthew Avenue II MATA projects.
SECTION 2: The appropriated funds shall be transferred into the MATA Fund, deposited into the MATA Fund checking account, and disbursed from the checking account upon authorized approval of project invoices
SECTION 3: It is hereby found and declared that an emergency exists and that this ordinance, being necessary to provide additional funding for MATA projects, shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
