RESOLUTION TO PROCEED WITH CONDEMNATION ACTION ON PROPERTIES LOCATED ON WEST MONROE AND EAST WOODROW

WHEREAS, it has been found to be unlawful for any person or persons to keep or maintain any house, building and/or structure within the corporate limits of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas which constitutes a nuisance and which is found and declared to be a nuisance: and

WHEREAS, the following properties have been found and declared to be a nuisance within the corporate limits of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that the following properties are hereby approved for condemnation:

(1)                     807 West Monroe Street

(2)                     105 East Woodrow Street

These houses are an attractive nuisance for children. It also provides harborage for rats and animals, constituting a menace to the public health, safety and welfare.
