A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO ACCEPT THE LOWEST RESPONSIBLE BID AND ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE LOWEST RESPONSIBLE BIDDER CAMERON CONSTRUCTION CO., INC. FOR SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION IMPROVEMENTS

Body

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has desires to accept the lowest responsible bid and enter into a contract for sidewalk construction improvements;

WHEREAS, the lowest responsible bidder and the firm selected to construct sidewalk improvements is Cameron Construction Co. Inc.;                     

WHEREAS, Cameron Construction Co., Inc. has bid $145,586.00 for the construction of sidewalk improvements;

WHEREAS, the funding for the execution of the contract shall come from 07-100-0311-00 and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the contract documents.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

Section 1.  That the City of Jonesboro shall accept the lowest responsible bid and enter into a contract with Cameron Construction Co., Inc. in the amount of $145,586.00 for sidewalk construction improvements

Section 2.  The funding for the execution of the contract shall come from 07-100-0311-00 and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the contract documents

Section 3.  The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
