BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Section 1: From and after the passage and adoption of this ordinance, Ordinance No.849, and Ordinance No.776 as amended by Section 2 or Ordinance No.960 shall be amended to read as follows:

CREATION OF BOARD OF REVIEW: There is hereby created a Board of Review which shall consist of one representative elected by the electrical contractors, one representative elected by the plumbing contractors, one representative elected by the building contractors and two other members appointed by the Mayor by and with the consent of the City Council as follows: an architect, an alderman, and the manager of the City Water and Light Plant.

Each member of the Board of Review shall serve in that capacity without pay and until his successor has been elected or appointed or until he has been removed from office. The term of office of the members of the Board of Review shall be for a period of two years and until their successors have been elected or appointed and qualified, except that the term of office of the six initial members shall be determined by lot so that three shall serve a term of one year ending December 31, 1960, and three for a two year period ending December 31, 1961. Thereafter each elected or appointed member shall serve for a term of two years.

Section 2: POWERS AND THE DUTIES: Any person, firm or corporation may register an appeal with the BOARD OF REVIEW for a review of any decision of the City Inspector in regard to any building, electrical or plumbing installation, provided that such appeal is made in writing within five...
