WHEREAS, we the Jonesboro City Council wish to go on record at this time requesting the Craighead County Quorum Court to secure and purchase of land for a Craighead County Jail Site and we urge that immediate construction of this project begin because of the severe demand for additional jail space currently needed.

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas to request the Craighead County Quorum Court to secure and purchase land for a Craighead County Jail Site and urging that immediate construction of this project begin because of the severe demand for additional jail space currently needed.
