RESOLUTION TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING TO ABANDON A PORTION OF JUDY STREET AS REQUESTED BY GUARANTY MORTGAGE COMPANY

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBSORO, ARKANSAS:
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed by Guaranty Mortgage Company sole and only owner of the real property abutting Judy Street in Mangrum's Subdivision of Block 4 of Senter & Company Addition to the City of Jonesboro, praying that said street be closed and abandoned as follows:
That portion of Judy Street shown on a plat of Mangrum's Subdivision of Block 4 of Senter & Company Addition to the City of Jonesboro, of record in Deed Book 40 at page 446, abutted by Lots 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 in Block 1 and Lots 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 in Block 2 of Mangrum's Subdivision as shown on said Plat.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas give notice by publication once a week for two weeks in some newspaper published in Craighead County, advising the property owners affected that on the 5th day of May, 1962, the Council will hear the said petition and determine whether such property shall be abandoned as a street and whether all abutting property owners and other persons directly interested have consented to such abandonment.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 5th day of February, 1962.
