RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING AND APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING ADVISORY COMMISSION TO DEVELOP A 20 YEAR COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO

WHEREAS, Mayor Harold Perrin and the Nominating & Rules Committee have requested the creation of a Comprehensive Planning Advisory Commission to develop a 20 year Comprehensive Plan for the City of Jonesboro;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that:
A Comprehensive Planning Advisory Commission be established for the purpose of developing a 20 year Comprehensive Plan for the City of Jonesboro, and
Gary Harpole, Darrel Dover, Otis Spriggs, Mark Young, Alan McVey, Gayle Vickers, Jason Wilkie, Pam Alexander, Dr. Glen Jones, Jerry Halsey, Jr., Mike Cameron, Mike Yates, Leonard Jadrich, Steve Ewart, Beverly Parker, Dr. Ruth Hawkins, Sherri Beatty, Craig Light, Tony Thomas, Gene Vance, Clay Young, Stephen Goad, Emma Agnew, Henry Torres, Greg Haag, Jason Willett, Davy Crockett, Kevin Inboden, James Dunivan, Dr. Susan Hanrahan, Terry Simmons, Phillip Steed, and Muhammad Ulkarim are hereby appointed as initial members to the Comprehensive Planning Advisory Commission.
Additional members representing specific interests and entities will be named by resolution at a later date.
Terms for all of the committee members shall start January 1, 2010, with an end date to be determined once the task is complete.
