RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS FOR THE DONATION OF CITY EQUIPMENT TO CRAIGHEAD COUNTY  

Body

WHEREAS, pursuant to Arkansas Code Annotated 14-58-306, the City is authorized to transfer personal property to another government entity within the State of Arkansas; and

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro is in possession of a M-B Model 245 Paint Striper which was purchased in 1992, and the City has determined that this is surplus equipment and is no longer needed by the City of Jonesboro; and

WHEREAS, the equipment is in serviceable condition and would be useful to Craighead County.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

Section 1: The City of Jonesboro approves the donation of the M-B Model 245 Paint Striper, VIN # 5-0135 to Craighead County and authorizes the transfer of same.
