AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE SOUTHVIEW ACRES STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NUMBER 1; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

WHEREAS, the parties claiming to be the owners of a majority in value as shown on the last county assessment of the property located within the district herein described have filed a petition praying that a street improvement district be established for the purposes hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the City Council and City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, held a public hearing to meet and hear all owners of real property in the proposed district desiring to be heard and has found and ruled that the petition contains the signatures of the majority in value of the real property owners within the said district; and
WHEREAS, the aforesaid petition should be approved and that the proposed street improvement district should be established in accordance with the A.C.A. ' 14-322-101, et seq., and other applicable laws of the State of Arkansas.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS ORDAINED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
SECTION 1: There is hereby established a street improvement district embracing the following real property with improvements:
Part of Section 12, Township 13 North, Range 3 East, Craighead County, Arkansas, being more particularly described as follows: Begin at the Southeast Corner of Section 12, Township 13 North, Range 3 East; thence North 0° 17' East along the East line of said Section 12, 1281.9 feet; thence West 2526.6 feet to the point of beginning proper; thence along an agreed property line fence as follows: South 88° 00' West 218.5 feet, North 88° 56' West 195.9 feet, North 3° 56' East 30.2 feet, North 88° 37' West 162.5 feet, North 88° 28' West 287 feet, North 88° 48' West 210.1 feet, North 87° 34' West 269 feet, North 87° 06' West 277.5 feet, North 20° 08' East 2827.4 feet, North 20° 35' East 421 feet to the centerline of a Public Road; thence South 56° 30' East along said center...
