AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND TITLE 14, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR CHANGES IN ZONING BOUNDARIES

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
SECTION 1: Title 14, known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas be amended as recommended by the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission by the changes in zoning classifications as follows:
FROM Residential R-1 TO Commercial C-3 THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PROPERTY:
LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
A part of the West Half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 23, Township 14 North, Range 3 east, Craighead County, City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, more particularly described as follows:
From the Southeast Corner of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 23, thence run S 89º27"37" W, a distant of 208.94 feet to a point; thence N 02º50'30" W, a distance of 102.16 feet to a point, said point being the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence S 01º18'15" E, a distance of 282.33 feet to a point; thence S 87º54'27" W a distance of 210.00 feet to a point; thence N 00º36'59" E a distance of 210.00 feet to a point on the south Right of Way of Strawfloor Road, thence along said southern Right of Way along a curve to the left, said curve having a radius of 479.63 feet, an arc of 218.36 feet, a chord of 216.48 feet, and a chord bearing of N 68º19'45" E, to a point, said point being the POINT OF BEGINNING, said tract containing 1.12 acres, more or less.
