AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND TITLE 14 OF THE JONESBORO MUNICIPAL CODE KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE IN ZONE DISTRICT BOUNDARIES

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
SECTION 1: That Title 14 of the Jonesboro Municipal Code known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas be amended by the change in zone district boundaries as follows:
From Single-Family Medium Density District (R-1) to CR-1:
part of the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter of section 26, township 14 north, range 3 east, Craighead county, Arkansas, and being more particularly described as follows: commencing at the southeast corner of the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter, section 26, township 14 north, range 4 east; thence south 89°02’ west 467.7 feet to the point of beginning, tract 1-c; thence south 89°02 west 195 feet; thence north 0°21’ west 232.2 feet to the center line of Arkansas state highway no. 226; thence along the center line of said highway as follows: north 85°13’ east 131.1 feet, south 81°32’ east 66.4 feet; thence south 230.1 feet to the point of beginning proper and containing 1.06 acres and being subject to an easement for Arkansas state highway no. 226 along the north side of the tract as shown on the plat of survey.
