RESOLUTION TO LEVY 1 MILL ON ALL REAL AND PERSONAL PROPERTY FOR A CITY LIBRARY TAX

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:

1.                     That there be and the same is hereby levied on all real and personal property within the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, a public city library tax of 1 mill on the dollar to be used for the maintenance of a public library for the year of 1975 to be collected in the year 1976.

2.                     That the Craighead Quorum be and the same is hereby requested to make a levy on said public library tax.

3.                     That the County Clerk of Craighead County, Arkansas, be and he is hereby authorized and directed to extend said tax upon the tax books and that the same be collected in the same manner and by the same person as other property taxes are collected.

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20^th day of October, 1975.
