A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A LEASE AGREEMENT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 107 FLINT STREET

WHEREAS, has utilized facilities located at 107 Flint Street to house the Street, Sanitation, and Planning Departments; and

WHEREAS, the current Lease Agreement is to end on the 30^st day of April, 2008; and

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro desires to continue the use of this real property; and

WHEREAS,  Northstar Industries, Inc./Best Diversified Products has agreed to a lease of said property through the 31^st day of October 2008 for a monthly rental of $6,500.00.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that:

Section 1:  The City of Jonesboro agrees to the terms and conditions of the lease attached as Exhibit A.

Sections 2:  The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute such documents as are necessary to effectuate this agreement.
