RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE A NEW PATROLMAN POSITION FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS, due to a manpower shortage in the Police Department caused by 2 (two) officers being on leave of absence, and since funds are available for the remainder of 1993; the police committee recommends that a new patrolman position be authorized, and that the Chief be authorized to fill it with a currently certified person.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Police Committee of the Jonesboro City Council recommends approval of this request.
