RESOLUTION TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE ABANDONMENT OF A PORTION OF AN ALLEY RUNNING SOUTH OF CREATH AVENUE

WHEREAS, a Petition has been filed by Roland Hughes and Marian M. Hughes praying that that portion of an alley between Lots 6 and 7 of Stephenson’s Church Street Addition to the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, be abandoned as follows:

A portion of an alley 12 feet wide and running South from South edge of Creath Avenue to the South edge of said Stephenson’s Church Street Addition to Jonesboro, Arkansas, between Lots 6 and 7 in said addition.

NOW, THREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas give publication once a week for two weeks in some newspaper published in Craighead County advising the property owners affected that on the 6^th day of October, 1958, the Council will hear the said Petition and determine whether such property shall be abandoned as an alley, and whether the abutting property owners and other persons directly interested have consented to such abandonment.
