CITY COUNCIL AGENDA - April 20, 1998
1. Call to order by Mayor at 6:30 p.m.
2. Roll call by Clerk
3. Approval of minutes from April 6, 1998 as provided.
4. City Attorney:
(A) 1st reading - Ordinance to rezone property from Commercial (C-3) to Industrial (I-1), located on the Southeast corner of Stadium Boulevard and Harrisburg Road. (Max Dacus, Jr.)
(B) 1st reading - Ordinance to rezone property from Residential (R-1) to Commercial (C-3) and from Residential (R-1) to Residential (R-3), located on the southwest corner of Paragould Drive and Johnson Avenue. (Dan Hatch)
(C) 2nd reading - Ordinance establishing requirements, rules, and regulations for potable water cross-connection control.
(D) 1st reading - Ordinance to amend chapters 11.12 and 11.16 of the Jonesboro Code of Ordinances, to repeal Ordinance Nos. 1695, 2186, 2174, 2393, and to adopt State Plumbing and Gas Codes.
(E) 1st reading - Ordinance to waive competitive bidding and authorize purchase of bridge panels for the Mata Department.
5. Resolution to proceed with condemnation action on the following Jonesboro property locations: 238 N. Bridge, 520 N. Second, 604 E. Cherry and 306 E. Allen.
