A RESOLUTION FOR THE PURPOSE OF CREATING ONE ADDITIONAL TRANSPORTATION SUPERVISOR FOR THE JONESBORO ECONOMICAL TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM

WHEREAS, It has been determined that that there is an immediate need for one additional Transportation Supervisor for the Jonesboro Economical Transportation System.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

SECTION ONE: The title of Transportation Supervisor in the Transportation Department already exists in the City of Jonesboro Pay Plan (Resolution No. 2004:02) in Grade 18.

SECTION TWO: The 2007 annual budget for the City of Jonesboro will not be affected by the addition of the Transportation Supervisor.

SECTION THREE: There are sufficient funds in the 2008 Fiscal Year Transportation Budget submitted to the Federal Transportation Administration and Department of Transportation Grant AR-90-X076-00.

SECTION FOUR: Due to the immediate need to facilitate efficient operations of the administrative and clerical staff of the Transportation Department this resolution shall be effective immediately.
