ORDINANCE TO SET REQUIREMENTS FOR PRELIMINARY AND FINAL SUBDIVISION PLATS TO BE TIED TO CITY OF JONESBORO GPS MONUMENTS

WHEREAS, THE CITY OF JONESBORO HAS CAUSED, GPS MONUMENTS TO BE SET THROUGHOUT THE CITY; AND

WHEREAS, these GPS monuments were set using Arkansas State Plane Coordinates -North Zone - NAD83 (1997) adjustment.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED it shall be required that all preliminary and final plats of subdivisions of five acres or more shall be submitted with the horizontal datum for said plat in the Arkansas State Plane Coordinate System - North Zone - NAD83 (1997) adjustment.  All horizontal control work shall be tied to at least two of the Jonesboro GPS monuments.  In addition, Construction Drawings, Plats, and “As Builts” must be submitted on electronic data in dxf format.
